Digitimes is out saying that smartbooks running Google’s (GOOG) Chrome OS operating system are on tap for release this month.
First, does anyone out there know what the heck a smartbook is?
According to Digitimes, like with the Nexus One smartphone, Google will release its own model alongside those made by companies like Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) and Acer.
However, I think it would make much more sense for HP to put the Palm webOS in as many devices as possible, including these smartbooks.
Again, does anybody know what a smartbook is?
